About

Helping leaders of new and innovative companies navigate risk and solve problems so their companies can thrive.

I am a California-licensed healthcare and regulatory attorney. As a general counsel, I have served startups in the software and clinical research space from founding through IPO.

Legal ambiguity? Love it.

Chaos? No problem.

It’s never been done before? Let’s figure it out.

I majored in English at Duke University, then spent the next ten years working in labor rights and public health in North Carolina, Central America, and Los Angeles. I have a Master’s degree in Public Health from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. I am a founding member of the Los Angeles chapter of TechGC.

I grew up in Salt Lake City, which gave me the chance to ski, hike, and camp throughout Utah’s amazing mountains and deserts. I currently live in Los Angeles with my two kids, and love surfing, reading, and exploring California.
